The plot offers space for four spacious detached residential and commercial properties. Based on reference images and a sketch design, we designed two almost identical homes with a commercial space.

The traditional shape of a lean-to was taken as the basis for the typology of the homes. The simple shape with the saddle roof lends itself perfectly as a functional space for the shed side of the building. At the other extreme, the iconic house-with-roof shape is used as an indoor outdoor living space that borders a wide view. Here, the inside-outside experience is emphasized by the transparency of the facade in combination with the continuous floor and the homeliness of a two-sided fireplace.
