The starting point was a shell building, and not just any building...

Huize Sytzama, the former town hall of Kollum, was completely renovated and converted into Grand Café Wâld in 2021

A interior design was created on behalf of the building owner and in collaboration with REND. Due to the monumental character of the building, it was decided to bring back classic style elements and colours in the design. Together with designer Cyntha Bouma, a lighting and styling plan was also offered. After presenting mood boards and styles, the starting points were recorded and visualised, complete with Renderbook for furniture, accessories and lighting plan.
