De Hem is a hamlet that is part of De Zuidlanden: a new city district in the municipality of Leeuwarden that architecturally shows strong similarities with a collection of Frisian villages. The structure in De Hem refers to the small size of a village and breathes village life.
One of the elements is a courtyard that returns in a contemporary form.

Registration for the new construction project has started. The concept for the development of a part of De Hem - the residential courtyard - has been visualized to support the ideas. The assignment was carried out in collaboration with REND.
