The Van Sinderen building is located on the Markt in Dokkum and has been repurposed as a fine-dining restaurant with luxury hotel suites on the upper floors.

We support the repurposing of the prominent building in visualizing ideas. First by means of spatial studies and later, when the filling is more concrete, with artist impressions. The starting point of the spatial study was the shell of the building. By setting up the building in 3D, we investigate the space and find answers.

'How many tables and hotel rooms can you fit here? Will you bump your head if I place a staircase here? Where do you place your installations?'

Essential questions from the owner, interior architect, kitchen supplier and contractor. By making it visual, they find the answers. In addition, the visualizations support communication about the project to those involved and the media.
